Our visit begins with our timed entry to The Palace with a self guided tour of the State Rooms and the opportunity to see the special exhibition, The Queen's Year. At and appointed time the group is met by their guide for a 45 minute tour of the garden. The Highlights Tour includes the Herbaceous Border, the summer house, the Rose Garden and views of the Waterloo Vase and Palace tennis court. The tour does not include the path along the south side of the garden. Visitors arrive at the entrance to the Summer Opening of Buckingham Palace and exit on to Grosvenor Place. The garden Tour will take place two and a half hours after your admission to the Palace.

ID will be required on the day to gain entry.  This must be either passport, driving license or other photographic id as well as a utility bill with name and address on it.
